Hi, I’m Vernon—and I started Everyone Needs A Hand because I believe a little help and a little company can go a long way. I’ve always enjoyed helping others, especially older folks who’ve spent their lives caring for everyone else. Now it’s their turn to have someone in their corner.
Whether it’s carrying groceries, cleaning out the fridge, fixing that one drawer that always sticks, or just sitting down for a friendly chat—I’m here for the small stuff that makes a big difference. I want my visits to feel like a friend dropping by, not a formal service call.
I work evenings and weekends right now, and I keep things personal—no strangers at the door, no rotating staff. It’s just me, every time. That means you’ll always know who’s coming, and you can trust the quality and consistency of care.
I’m pretty handy, too—I’ve got a knack for solving little household headaches and making life more comfortable. If something’s not on my usual list of services, just ask. I’m happy to help however I can. If I can’t do it, I’ll try to help you find someone who can.
I started this business because I saw a need—and I genuinely enjoy what I do. My goal is to make life easier, safer, and more enjoyable for older adults in our community. Everyone needs a hand sometimes, and I’m proud to be that hand for someone else.
